Speaker 1: burst but too short to be typical of galactic nuclei events.
Speaker 1: Two independent research teams have proposed different explanations for this
Speaker 1: cosmic mystery. One team suggests it might be an extremely
Speaker 1: rare type of tidal disruption event where a star is
Speaker 1: torn apart by a black hole's gravitational forces. However, the
Speaker 1: lack of radio frequency emissions makes this explanation challenging to confirm.
Speaker 1: The alternative theory proposed by the second team is even
Speaker 1: more exciting. EP two four zero four zero eight A
Speaker 1: might represent an entirely new class of cosmic events. They
Speaker 1: suggest this could be the first detection of an intermediate

Speaker 1: Earth orbit, representing a significant boost in China's launch capabilities. Meanwhile,
Speaker 1: SpaceX continues its ambitious Starlink deployment schedule, with three launches
Speaker 1: planned from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. These missions
Speaker 1: will lift off on February eleventh, fourteenth, and seventeen, maintaining
Speaker 1: the company's remarkable launch cadence. Each mission will carry a

Speaker 1: ring and it's a perfect cosmic circle. This stunning gravitational
Speaker 1: lens was found by chance just two months after the
Speaker 1: telescope's launch in July twenty twenty three, as it began
Speaker 1: its ambitious mission to map the dark universe. The ring
Speaker 1: was created by light from a distant galaxy being bent
Speaker 1: around NNGC six thousand, five hundred and five, a galaxy
Speaker 1: about five hundred ninety million light years from Earth. What
Speaker 1: makes this discovery particularly special is how close NNGC six thousand,
Speaker 1: five hundred and five is to us. It's rare to
Speaker 1: find such a nearby galaxy acting as a strong gravitational lens.
Speaker 1: The light forming the ring has been traveling for an
Speaker 1: incredible four point four billion years, meaning it began its
Speaker 1: journey when our solar system was in its infancy. Scientists
Speaker 1: have nicknamed this phenomenon Altieri's lens, after its discoverer, Bruno Altieri.
Speaker 1: The perfect circular shape of the Einstein Ring required an
Speaker 1: extraordinarily precise alignment between the source galaxy, the lensing galaxy,
Speaker 1: and our telescope. In fact, researchers estimate that EUCLID might
Speaker 1: find only about twenty such perfect rings during its entire mission.
Speaker 1: But beyond its visual beauty, this Einstein Ring serves as
Speaker 1: a powerful scientific tool by analyzing how the background galaxy's
Speaker 1: light is distorted, Researchers have made precise measurements of NGNGC
Speaker 1: six thousand, five hundred five s mass distribution, including its
Speaker 1: dark matter content. Surprisingly, they found that dark matter makes
Speaker 1: up only eleven per cent of the galaxy's central mass,
Speaker 1: a striking contrast to the universe's overall dark matter content
Speaker 1: of about eighty five percent. This discovery demonstrates euclid's extraordinary
Speaker 1: capabilities in investigating the dark universe. While perfect Einstein rings
Speaker 1: may be rare, the telescope is expected to discover over
Speaker 1: one hundred thousand other gravitational lenses during its mission, helping
Speaker 1: create the most detailed map ever of both visible and
